Fulufhelo’s role entails overseeing the ESG strategy for different business units within OMAI, enhancing environmental and social management systems, ensuring compliance with frameworks, conducting due diligence, managing risks across sectors, and driving positive impacts.
With ten years’ experience in environmental consulting and ESG advisory, prior to joining OMAI, she worked for the Public Investment Corporation and several environmental consulting firms as well. Fulufhelo has extensive experience in ESG reporting, performance management, investment monitoring, due diligence, and sustainability advisory across multiple sectors, including private equity, renewable energy, mining, oil & gas, and infrastructure.
Qualifications and current board membership details- Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance (University of Cape Town- Graduate Business School, 2022), Master of Science in Environmental Studies (University of the Witwatersrand, 2019), Bachelor of Science Honours Geography and Environmental Studies (University of the Witwatersrand, 2016.
