Zulfa Abdurahman is the Chief Risk Officer of Old Mutual Investments, responsible for the governance functions of Legal, Risk, and Compliance.

Zulfa joined Old Mutual Investment Group in 2008 and is a member of Old Mutual Investments’ Exco.

Due to the diverse nature of the business, Zulfa has legal, risk, and compliance experience across a wide array of financial services providers and is well-versed in all the regulations impacting the financial services industry.

She manages teams of compliance, legal and risk professionals who are tasked with identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on legal, risk, and compliance matters facing the organisation. Before this role, she was the Head of Compliance at Old Mutual Investment Group.

Prior to joining Old Mutual Investment Group, Zulfa was an attorney in private practice at Norton Rose.
