As the Head of Credit, Thirushen is responsible for the credit investment process, deal life cycle and is a member of the Credit Committee. He is also tasked with the management of the investment analyst team. Thirushen has over 17 years’ banking and investment management experience and has deep knowledge of the listed and unlisted credit market.

Thirushen joined OMAI from OMSFIN where he was part of credit team, responsible for both listed and unlisted credit. Prior to Old Mutual, Thirushen spent 10 years with Absa Capital, holding various roles across Product Control, Capital Management and Credit.

Thirushen obtained an MBA qualification from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town, graduating with a distinction in 2019.
