Hashim is an Investment Principal for Hybrid Capital, a business unit within Old Mutual Alternative Investments (OMAI), and is responsible for providing investment support across the full hybrid capital value chain.

Prior to joining OMAI in 2020, Hashim spent two years at Old Mutual Specialised Finance, where he assisted in the execution of transactions across various industries in the principal investment team.

Prior to that, he worked in the transaction advisory service unit of EY.

Hashim served his articles at EY and is a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa. He has a B.Busc.Sci (Finance) from the University of Cape Town.
