Ian Mason is the Head of Impact Investing at Old Mutual Alternative Investments (OMAI). 

Ian joined OMAI in December 2010 and his experience enables him to bring an extensive knowledge of the property and finance industries to the management, of the investment portfolios.

Prior to joining OMAI, he was employed at Standard Bank as director of Western Cape in Property Finance, Corporate, and Investment Banking. Ian has over 35 years of relevant management experience in the property market and financial services industry. 

Ian holds an MBA from Wits Business School, is a registered property valuer, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He currently serves on the Board of several property-owning companies.
