Wesley is a Credit Manager at Infrastructure Debt, responsible for the oversight and management of credit risk for a portfolio of project finance counterparties.

He joined Old Mutual as a Credit Analyst, predominantly focused on infrastructure and leveraged finance, and strengthened his credit foundation as a Credit Manager with Diversified Credit (a division of Old Mutual Alternative Investments), where he was responsible for a team of credit analysts covering structured corporate credit risk. His interest in project finance saw a return to Infrastructure Debt. Prior to joining Old Mutual, Wesley completed his articles at KPMG (specialising in non-financial services entities), acting as a Regional Audit Supervisor. Wesley acted as the lead credit specialist on numerous infrastructure transactions, including Roggeveld Wind Farm constructed as part of Bid Window 4 under the South African Government’s renewable energy programme and recent utility scale wind farms in the private power space. Wesley also has extensive experience in managing higher-risk counterparties and leading restructuring engagements.

Wesley holds a BBusSc (Fin and Acc) and PGDA from the University of Cape Town. He is a qualified CA(SA).
