Ngawethu Dyantyi is a professional in the Operations & Data (O&D) function for the International Private Equity business unit within Old Mutual Alternative Investments (OMAI). She joined OMAI with over 15 years of experience in the banking and asset management industry, bringing deep expertise in operational best practices, data management, and fund administration across traditional and alternative investments.
Prior to joining OMAI in 2025, Ngawethu spent 11 years at STANLIB, where she played a key role in launching the firm’s alternative fund offering. Her responsibilities included managing operations for the multi-manager alternative platform, which covered South African hedge funds as well as Irish-domiciled Africa private assets and global fund structures. She was also responsible for conducting operational due diligence on fund managers, administrators, and custodians.
Ngawethu’s background includes executing end-to-end operational strategies, overseeing fund valuation and financial operations, and collaborating with a broad range of external stakeholders to enhance the overall client experience.
Ngawethu holds a BCom Honours degree and an MBA from Wits Business School.
