Consol is South Africa’s largest manufacturer of glass packaging and market leader for over 70 years. Consol manufactures and markets an extensive range of glass packaging products primarily for the South African beverage and food industries. It is the principal supplier to some of South Africa’s leading food and beverage companies, including AB InBev, Distell, DHN Drinks, Tiger Brands, Nestlé, Appletiser, Ceres, Edward Snell and Dickon Hall.
Consol's African footprint continues to expand, and currently includes operations in Nigeria, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Consol Glass was sold to Ardagh Group in 2022.
