Nazeem Mohamed is an Investment Principal at Old Mutual Private Equity (OMPE) and is responsible for the full suite of private equity functions, from deal origination to execution, investment management and exits.

Nazeem joined OMPE in 2015 and has been involved in numerous transactions including Morecorp, Medhold, Footgear, Actom and the delisting of Long4Life.

Prior to joining OMPE, Nazeem was a member of the Corporate Finance team at Old Mutual Emerging Markets where he was involved in Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Investments, Disposals and Joint Ventures, BEE transactions, Corporate Restructurings, Capital Raisings, Valuations and Due Diligence.

He served his articles at EY and is a qualified Chartered Accountant in South Africa as well as a CFA® Charterholder.

Nazeem serves on the Boards of Actom, Holdsport, Beverages Holdco (which includes Chill Beverages & Inhle Beverages), Medhold and Morecorp, and has previously served on the Boards of Footgear and Tourvest.
